The Workplace
Hazardous Materials
Information System (WHMIS)
is Canada's national
hazard communication
standard. The key
elements of the
system are
cautionary labelling
of containers of
WHMIS "controlled
products", the
provision of
material safety data
sheets (MSDSs) and
worker education and
training programs.
Our WebLink courses
are offered as
webinar training
with an offsite
instructor. This
course is in real
time so your
instructor is
available for
interaction and Q&A
during the course.

For Ontario
workplaces of 20 or
more employees, a
Joint Health &
Safety committee
consisting of a
minimum of 1 worker
and 1 management
employee is
required. Both Parts
1 & 2 training are
required for full
